   EMC LABORATORY

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive states that any system or device should function without affecting other systems or devices around and without being affected by them.

Electrical and electronic devices should not affect the functioning or the performance of other devices by emiting electromagnetic noise and impacts while working. Also, they should not give reactions to electromagnetic effects coming while working. These two requirements are complementary and devices must satisfy both the two.

CE Marking should be done correctly for poducts to be able to enter the market. The Europion Union EMC Directive (EN 2004/108/EC) and The Harmonized Product Standards explain the general criteria that the products under the directive should satisfy.

In our EMC Laboratory, experiments necessary for the producers to put the CE Mark on their products under the EMC Directive are conducted. Producers can make researches (Re&De) about EMC in our Laboratory too.
